  1. 1. If necessary, wipe the mushrooms with a kitchen towel and slice them thinly. Cut the onions in half, peel them, and dice them finely. Rinse the thyme, shake off excess water, and pluck the leaves.
  2. 2. In a pot, fry the bacon for about 3 minutes until crispy over medium heat, then remove and set aside. In the remaining fat, sauté the mushrooms and onions while stirring for about 3 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and 3/4 of the thyme.
  3. 3. Add the wine, then pour in the cream and broth, and bring everything to a boil. Stir in the pasta and cook uncovered, stirring frequently for about 10 minutes, until al dente and the liquid has been absorbed. Add more broth if needed.
  4. 4. Grate the Parmesan finely. Taste the one-pot pasta and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if necessary, plate it, and sprinkle with Parmesan, bacon, and the remaining thyme. Enjoy your meal!
