🍝 One-Pot Lentil Bolognese Pasta for Camping

Ingredients
- yellow onions 1 pc.
- carrots 1 pc.
- oil 2 tbsp.
- lentils, red 150 g
- tomatoes, chopped 400 g
- vegetable broth 500 ml
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- sugar pinch
- pasta seasoning 1 tbsp.
- penne rigate 500 g
Instructions
- 1. Halve the onion and peel it.
- 2. Finely dice the onion.
- 3. Peel the carrot.
- 4. Trim the ends of the carrot.
- 5. Dice the carrot into small pieces.
- 6. Heat oil in a pot over high heat.
- 7. Sauté the onions and carrots for about 3 minutes.
- 8. Add the lentils to the pot.
- 9. Deglaze the mixture with chopped tomatoes.
- 10. Add vegetable broth until the pot is filled.
- 11. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- 12. Season with salt.
- 13. Season with pepper.
- 14. Add a little sugar.
- 15. Add pasta seasoning.
- 16. Add the pasta to the pot.
- 17. Cook everything together for about 10 minutes.
- 18. Taste the lentil bolognese and adjust seasoning if needed.
- 19. Serve the one-pot pasta.
- 20. Garnish the pasta with fresh parsley or basil if desired.
