Ingredients
- Salt pinch
- Broccoli 1 pc.
- Eggs 8 pcs.
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Butter 2 tbsp
- Rye bread 4 slices
Instructions
- 1. Fill a pot with about one liter of water and add some salt. Place the pot on the stove and bring the water to a boil.
- 2. Thoroughly wash the broccoli under running water. Cut the broccoli into small florets of about one centimeter in size.
- 3. Add the broccoli florets to the boiling salted water. Cook them for about three minutes until they are tender-crisp. Remove the pot from the heat and drain the water.
- 4. Take a bowl and crack the eggs into it. Season the eggs with a pinch of salt and freshly ground pepper. Whisk the mixture with a fork or whisk until well combined.
- 5. Take a non-stick frying pan and heat it over medium heat. Add one tablespoon of butter to the pan and let it melt.
- 6. Add half of the cooked broccoli to the hot pan. Spread it evenly across the bottom of the pan.
- 7. Pour half of the egg mixture over the broccoli in the pan. Let the omelette cook over medium heat for about five minutes until the eggs have set.
- 8. Carefully flip the omelette to brown the other side. Cook it for another three minutes to finish.
- 9. Repeat steps 5 to 8 to prepare the second omelette. Use fresh butter and the remaining ingredients.
- 10. Divide the finished omelettes onto two plates. Serve them warm with fresh bread. Enjoy your meal!
