  4. 4. Reduce the heat to medium.
  5. 5. Cook the potatoes covered for about 20 minutes.
  6. 6. Drain the cooked potatoes.
  7. 7. Rinse the potatoes immediately with cold water to cool them down.
  8. 8. Peel the cooled potatoes.
  9. 9. Bring about 1 liter of water to a boil in a separate pot.
  10. 10. Carefully place the eggs into the boiling water.
  11. 11. Cook the eggs for about 7 minutes.
  12. 12. Drain the eggs.
  13. 13. Cool the eggs down with cold water.
  14. 14. Peel the cooled eggs.
  15. 15. Let the gherkins drain briefly.
  16. 16. Wash the cucumbers.
  17. 17. Remove the hard ends of the cucumbers.
  18. 18. Peel the cucumbers according to your preference.
  19. 19. Wash the radishes.
  20. 20. Remove the stem bases of the radishes.
  21. 21. Dice the cucumbers finely.
  22. 22. Dice the radishes finely.
  23. 23. Wash the dill and the chives.
  24. 24. Shake the vegetables dry.
  25. 25. Cut the chives into fine rings.
  26. 26. Remove the coarse stems from the dill.
  27. 27. Chop the dill finely.
  28. 28. Tear the ham into small pieces with your hands.
  29. 29. Dice the peeled potatoes into approx. 0.5 cm pieces.
  30. 30. Dice the peeled eggs into approx. 0.5 cm pieces.

  37. 37. If necessary, add more sparkling mineral water to achieve the desired liquid consistency.
  38. 38. Fill the Okroshka into deep plates.
  39. 39. Serve the soup immediately.
