🍰 Pear Bread Pudding

Ingredients
- Pears 4 pcs.
- Brioche loaf 1 pc.
- Butter 4 tbsp.
- Cranberries 4 tbsp.
- Milk 100 ml
- Heavy cream 100 g
- Eggs 2 pcs.
- Brown sugar 3 tbsp.
- Vanilla sugar 2 tsp.
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with fan.
- 2. Wash the pears thoroughly.
- 3. Cut the pears into quarters.
- 4. Remove the hard core and seeds from the pear pieces.
- 5. Cut the cored pears into thin wedges.
- 6. Slice the brioche bread into thick slices.
- 7. Brush the brioche slices with butter.
- 8. Sprinkle the buttered slices with lingonberries.
- 9. Grease a baking dish with some fat.
- 10. Place a layer of the brioche slices into the dish.
- 11. Spread a layer of the pear wedges over the bread.
- 12. Repeat the layering until all ingredients are used up.
- 13. Pour the milk into a large bowl.
- 14. Add the cream to the milk.
- 15. Whisk the eggs into the milk and cream mixture.
- 16. Add the sugar to the mixture.
- 17. Add the vanilla sugar to the mixture.
- 18. Stir all liquid ingredients well together.
- 19. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the casserole.
- 20. Let the bread absorb the liquid well.
- 21. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven.
- 22. Bake the casserole for about 40 minutes.
- 23. Remove the casserole from the oven.
- 24. Serve the casserole hot.
