🍽️ Oven Asparagus with Nuts

Ingredients
- white asparagus 500 g
- green asparagus 500 g
- thyme, fresh 5 g
- organic lemon 1 pc
- olive oil 2 tbsp
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- hazelnut kernels, whole 4 tbsp
- basil, fresh 15 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Wash the white asparagus, peel it, and cut off the woody ends.
- 3. Wash the green asparagus, cut off the woody ends, and peel the bottom third.
- 4. Wash the thyme and shake it dry.
- 5. Wash the lemon, grate about one teaspoon of zest, and squeeze out the juice.
- 6. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
- 7. Place the asparagus, thyme, olive oil, and lemon zest on the tray.
- 8. Season everything with salt and pepper.
- 9. Bake the asparagus in the oven for about 25 minutes.
- 10. Meanwhile, heat a pan without fat on high heat.
- 11. Roast the hazelnuts in the pan for about 3 minutes.
- 12. Roughly chop the roasted hazelnuts.
- 13. Wash the basil and shake it dry.
- 14. Pluck the basil leaves and chop them roughly.
- 15. Carefully remove the asparagus from the oven.
- 16. Garnish the asparagus with the basil and hazelnuts.
- 17. Serve the dish and enjoy your meal.
