🍰 Nut Tarts with Plums

Ingredients
- plums 300 g
- butter 1 tbsp
- sugar 160 g
- salt pinch
- eggs 3 pcs
- wheat flour, type 405 150 g
- hazelnut kernels, ground 90 g
- baking powder 1 tsp
- milk 50 ml
- hazelnut kernels, whole 4 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (fan). Wash the plums, halve them, remove the pits and cut them into strips.
- 2. Beat the butter with 120 g sugar and a pinch of salt in a bowl until creamy using a hand mixer. Add the eggs one by one. Mix the flour, ground hazelnuts and baking powder and stir the mixture in briefly along with the milk.
- 3. Fill the dough into 8 greased tartlet molds (approx. 10 cm Ø) or into a springform pan and smooth it out slightly. Arrange the plum wedges in a star shape on top and bake the nut tarts with plums for about 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
- 4. Coarsely chop the hazelnuts and toast them in a pan without fat over medium heat for about 2 minutes. Sprinkle them with 2 tbsp sugar and let them caramelize for approx. 2 minutes. Distribute them on the nut tarts and serve. Enjoy your meal!
