🍰 Crunchy Nut Macaroons

Ingredients
- Eggs 2 pcs.
- Salt pinch
- Icing sugar 120 g
- Hazelnut kernels, ground 125 g
- Baking wafers 30 pcs.
- Walnut kernels 4 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius with fan setting.
- 2. Separate the eggs and save the yolks for another recipe.
- 3. Place the egg whites and a pinch of salt into a bowl.
- 4. Whip the mixture stiff using a hand mixer and whisk.
- 5. Slowly stir the powdered sugar into the egg mixture.
- 6. Continue beating until the mass is firm and glossy.
- 7. Gently fold the hazelnuts into the mixture.
- 8. Place wafer cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 9. Place small portions of the mixture onto the wafers.
- 10. Place a walnut on top of each portion.
- 11. Bake the macaroons in the oven for about 20 minutes.
- 12. Remove the macaroons when they are baked to a light color.
- 13. Store the finished macaroons in an airtight container.
- 14. Enjoy your meal!
