🍰 Crunchy Nut Nougat Rolls

Ingredients
- yeast, fresh 0.5 pcs
- water 250 ml
- sugar 1 tsp
- wheat flour, type 405 500 g
- salt pinch
- nut-nougat cream 140 g
- whipping cream 2 tbsp
- butter 2 tbsp
- eggs 1 pcs
Instructions
- 1. Dissolve the yeast and sugar in lukewarm water in a bowl.
- 2. Cover the bowl and let the mixture rest for ten minutes.
- 3. Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture.
- 4. Knead everything into a smooth dough.
- 5. Place the dough in a warm spot, covered.
- 6. Let the dough rise for about an hour until it has doubled in size.
- 7. Knead the dough briefly again after rising.
- 8. Roll the dough out thinly on a lightly floured surface.
- 9. Stir the nut nougat cream with the whipping cream in a bowl until smooth.
- 10. Spread the cream evenly over the rolled-out yeast dough.
- 11. Roll the dough up tightly from the long side.
- 12. Cut the dough roll into ten equal pieces.
- 13. Lightly grease a muffin tin.
- 14. Place one piece of dough into each cup of the tin.
- 15. Beat an egg in a small bowl.
- 16. Brush the rolls with the beaten egg.
- 17. Bake the rolls in the oven for about twenty minutes until golden brown.
