  1. 1. Dissolve the yeast and sugar in lukewarm water in a bowl.
  2. 2. Cover the bowl and let the mixture rest for ten minutes.
  3. 3. Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture.
  4. 4. Knead everything into a smooth dough.
  5. 5. Place the dough in a warm spot, covered.
  6. 6. Let the dough rise for about an hour until it has doubled in size.
  7. 7. Knead the dough briefly again after rising.
  8. 8. Roll the dough out thinly on a lightly floured surface.
  9. 9. Stir the nut nougat cream with the whipping cream in a bowl until smooth.
  10. 10. Spread the cream evenly over the rolled-out yeast dough.
  11. 11. Roll the dough up tightly from the long side.
  12. 12. Cut the dough roll into ten equal pieces.
  13. 13. Lightly grease a muffin tin.
  14. 14. Place one piece of dough into each cup of the tin.
  15. 15. Beat an egg in a small bowl.
  16. 16. Brush the rolls with the beaten egg.
  17. 17. Bake the rolls in the oven for about twenty minutes until golden brown.
