Ingredients
- Milk 125 ml
- butter 30 g
- Wheat flour, Type 405 100 g
- Sugar 65 g
- Salt pinch
- Vanilla sugar 20 g
- Eggs 2 pcs
- Cinnamon 1 tsp
- Rapeseed oil 500 ml
Instructions
- 1. Put the milk and butter into a pot.
- 2. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it boils.
- 3. Mix the flour, one tablespoon of sugar, a pinch of salt, and vanilla sugar in a small bowl.
- 4. Add the flour mixture all at once to the boiling pot.
- 5. Stir vigorously until a firm dough ball forms.
- 6. Continue cooking the dough over constant stirring for about one minute until it pulls away from the bottom of the pot.
- 7. Remove the pot from the heat and transfer the dough into a bowl.
- 8. Let the dough cool down slightly so the eggs do not scramble.
- 9. Mix the eggs into the dough one by one.
- 10. Keep stirring until the dough is shiny and falls in long strands from the spoon.
- 11. Mix the remaining sugar with cinnamon on a flat plate.
- 12. Heat the frying oil in a pot.
- 13. Test the oil temperature by holding a wooden stick in the oil; small bubbles should rise.
- 14. Take two tablespoons of dough and form small balls.
- 15. Carefully place the dough portions into the hot oil.
- 16. Fry the pieces for about three to four minutes until they are golden brown.
- 17. Turn the pieces occasionally so they bake evenly.
- 18. Remove loose dough bits from the oil to prevent them from burning.
- 19. Remove the finished nun's farts from the oil.
- 20. Let them drain briefly on kitchen paper.
- 21. Roll the warm pieces immediately in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- 22. Serve the sweet treat warm or cooled.
