  1. 1. Thoroughly wash the potatoes under running water.
  2. 2. Place the unpeeled potatoes in a pot and cover them with salted water.
  3. 3. Bring the water to a boil and reduce the heat to medium.
  4. 4. Cover the pot and cook the potatoes for about 20 minutes until they are soft.
  5. 5. Wash the beans and trim the ends.
  6. 6. Add the beans to the pot with the potatoes and cook them together for approx. 10 minutes.
  7. 7. Drain the vegetables and rinse them immediately with cold water to stop the cooking process.
  8. 8. Peel the cooled potatoes and cut them into coarse cubes.
  9. 9. Bring about 1 liter of water to a boil in a separate pot.
  10. 10. Boil the eggs for about 10 minutes until hard-boiled.
  11. 11. Cool the eggs under cold water, peel them, and cut them into six pieces.
  12. 12. Halve the onions, peel them, and cut them into wedges.
  13. 13. Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them into quarters.
  14. 14. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
  15. 15. Wash the thyme, pat it dry, and strip the leaves from the stems.
  16. 16. Chop the thyme leaves finely.
  17. 17. Halve the lemon and squeeze out the juice.
  18. 18. Wash the romaine lettuce and tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces.
  19. 19. Drain the olives and reserve the marinade in a small bowl.
  20. 20. In a bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of the marinade, the chopped thyme, the garlic, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, and olive oil.
  21. 21. Season the dressing with salt and pepper to taste.
  22. 22. Gently mix all prepared ingredients with the dressing.
  23. 23. Serve the salad together with ciabatta bread.
  24. 24. Enjoy your meal! Optionally, you can also add tuna.
