🍽️ Nectarine Caprese with Smoked Salmon

Ingredients
- shallots 1 pc.
- nectarine 4 pc.
- mozzarella 2 pc.
- basil, fresh 20 g
- organic limes 1 pc.
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- olive oil 3 tbsp
- smoked salmon 150 g
- baguette 1 pc.
Instructions
- 1. Halve the shallot lengthwise and peel off the skin.
- 2. Slice the shallot into thin rings.
- 3. Wash the nectarines thoroughly under running water.
- 4. Halve the nectarines and remove the pit.
- 5. Slice the nectarines into thin slices.
- 6. Drain the mozzarella.
- 7. Slice the mozzarella into thin slices.
- 8. Wash the basil and shake it dry.
- 9. Pluck the basil leaves off the stems.
- 10. Cut the lime in half.
- 11. Squeeze the juice from the lime.
- 12. Arrange the nectarine slices on a large serving platter.
- 13. Top the nectarines with the mozzarella slices.
- 14. Season the dish with salt and pepper.
- 15. Drizzle oil over the caprese.
- 16. Add the lime juice.
- 17. Tear the smoked salmon into bite-sized pieces.
- 18. Distribute the salmon pieces on the platter.
- 19. Garnish the dish with the shallot rings.
- 20. Sprinkle the basil leaves over the top.
- 21. Serve the nectarine caprese alongside baguette.
