  2. 2. Cut the nectarines in half and remove the pit.
  3. 3. Slice the fruit into wedges.
  4. 4. Set aside four nectarine wedges for decoration.
  5. 5. Wash the blueberries and let them drain well.
  6. 6. Reserve one teaspoon of blueberries for garnishing.
  7. 7. Place the remaining nectarines, blueberries, and orange juice into the blender.
  8. 8. Add the vanilla sugar.
  9. 9. Blend the ingredients until smooth.
  10. 10. Sweeten the smoothie with powdered sugar to taste if desired.
  11. 11. Thread the reserved nectarine wedges and blueberries onto wooden skewers.
  12. 12. Pour the smoothie evenly into four glasses.
  13. 13. Garnish the glasses with the prepared wooden skewers.
