🍽️ Tender Neck Steaks in Beer-Onion Marinade

Ingredients
- onions, yellow 2 pcs.
- beer 400 ml
- mustard 3 tbsp
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- brown sugar pinch
- pork neck steaks 700 g
Instructions
- 1. Halve the onions and remove the outer skin.
- 2. Dice the onions into coarse chunks.
- 3. Place the onion chunks into a large bowl.
- 4. Pour the beer over the onions.
- 5. Add the mustard.
- 6. Season the marinade with salt and pepper to taste.
- 7. Stir in a small amount of sugar to balance the acidity.
- 8. Rinse the neck steaks under running water.
- 9. Pat the meat completely dry with a kitchen towel.
- 10. Place the steaks into the beer marinade.
- 11. Place the bowl in the refrigerator.
- 12. Let the meat marinate for the desired amount of time.
- 13. Remove the meat from the marinade and let it drip briefly.
- 14. Preheat your grill.
- 15. Place the steaks on the hot grill grate.
- 16. Grill the steaks for about 15 minutes.
- 17. Turn the steaks several times during the grilling process.
- 18. Brush the steaks repeatedly with the remaining marinade.
- 19. Alternatively: Heat one tablespoon of oil in a frying pan over medium to high heat.
- 20. Fry the steaks in the pan for about 5 to 6 minutes per side.
- 21. Remove the steaks from the grill or the pan.
- 22. Serve the meat and enjoy your meal!
