  1. 1. Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water and stir in the sugar.
  2. 2. Let the yeast mixture sit covered for about ten minutes.
  3. 3. Add the flour and salt to the yeast mixture.
  4. 4. Knead the ingredients by hand into a smooth dough.
  5. 5. Let the dough rise in a warm place, covered, for about thirty minutes.
  6. 6. Wait until the dough volume has roughly doubled.
  7. 7. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.
  8. 8. Fry the bacon strips until crispy for about four minutes.
  9. 9. Drain the fried bacon on paper towels.
  10. 10. Add the bacon cubes, nut muesli, and three quarters of the grated cheese to the dough.
  11. 11. Knead the ingredients well into the dough.
  12. 12. Divide the dough into eight equal portions.
  13. 13. Place the dough portions on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  14. 14. Cover the rolls with a clean kitchen towel.
  15. 15. Let the rolls rise for another thirty minutes.
  16. 16. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees top and bottom heat.
  17. 17. Sprinkle the rolls with the remaining grated cheese.
  18. 18. Bake the rolls in the oven for about twenty-five minutes.
  19. 19. Carefully remove the rolls from the oven.
  20. 20. Let the rolls cool slightly before serving them.
