  1. 1. Pat the mozzarella dry with kitchen paper.
  2. 2. Cut the cheese into slices about 1 centimeter thick.
  3. 3. Mix breadcrumbs with oregano, salt, and pepper in a plate.
  4. 4. Whisk the eggs in a second plate.
  5. 5. Place the flour in a third plate.
  6. 6. Coat the mozzarella slices in the flour first.
  7. 7. Dip the floured slices into the egg mixture next.
  8. 8. Press the slices firmly into the breadcrumbs.
  9. 9. Coat the breaded slices again briefly in the egg mixture.
  10. 10. Finally, coat the slices again in the breadcrumbs.
  11. 11. Place the finished mozzarella cutlets in the freezer.
  12. 12. Heat the oil in a pot on high heat.
  13. 13. Fry the mozzarella cutlets in the hot oil for about 2 minutes until golden brown.
  14. 14. Remove the cutlets from the oil with a slotted spoon.
  15. 15. Let the excess oil drip off on kitchen paper.
  16. 16. Serve the fried mozzarella cutlets with ketchup.
