Ingredients
- Mozzarella 3 pcs
- Breadcrumbs 5 tbsp
- Oregano, dried pinch
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Eggs 3 pcs
- Wheat flour, Type 405 4 tbsp
- Frying oil 1 L
- Ketchup 4 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Pat the mozzarella dry with kitchen paper.
- 2. Cut the cheese into slices about 1 centimeter thick.
- 3. Mix breadcrumbs with oregano, salt, and pepper in a plate.
- 4. Whisk the eggs in a second plate.
- 5. Place the flour in a third plate.
- 6. Coat the mozzarella slices in the flour first.
- 7. Dip the floured slices into the egg mixture next.
- 8. Press the slices firmly into the breadcrumbs.
- 9. Coat the breaded slices again briefly in the egg mixture.
- 10. Finally, coat the slices again in the breadcrumbs.
- 11. Place the finished mozzarella cutlets in the freezer.
- 12. Heat the oil in a pot on high heat.
- 13. Fry the mozzarella cutlets in the hot oil for about 2 minutes until golden brown.
- 14. Remove the cutlets from the oil with a slotted spoon.
- 15. Let the excess oil drip off on kitchen paper.
- 16. Serve the fried mozzarella cutlets with ketchup.
