Ingredients
- Coffee 1 tsp
- Chocolate, milk 100 g
- Chocolate, white 50 g
- Eggs 2 pcs
- Icing sugar 75 g
- Whipping cream 150 g
- Chocolate sprinkles, dark 50 g
Instructions
- 1. Prepare 50 milliliters of coffee and let it cool down completely.
- 2. Chop both types of chocolate into small pieces.
- 3. Place the chocolate pieces into a heatproof bowl.
- 4. Place the bowl over a pot of boiling water, ensuring the bottom of the bowl does not touch the water.
- 5. Melt the chocolate while stirring occasionally.
- 6. Let the melted chocolate cool down briefly.
- 7. Separate the eggs by dividing the yolks from the whites.
- 8. Whisk the egg yolks with powdered sugar until fluffy.
- 9. Stir the cooled chocolate into the egg yolk mixture.
- 10. Add the cooled coffee gradually and stir it in.
- 11. Whip the cream until it forms stiff peaks.
- 12. Gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture.
- 13. Whip the egg whites until they form stiff peaks.
- 14. Gently fold the whipped egg whites into the mixture until it is airy.
- 15. Place the mousse in the refrigerator for about 2 to 3 hours.
- 16. Decorate the finished mousse evenly with chocolate sprinkles.
- 17. Serve the mousse and enjoy your meal!
