🥤 Fresh Mint Julep Cocktail

Ingredients
- mint, fresh 15 g
- lemons 0.5 pc.
- water 200 ml
- sugar 250 g
- crushed ice 100 g
- whisky 40 ml
Instructions
- 1. Wash the mint thoroughly and shake it dry.
- 2. Remove the leaves from the stems and cut them into thin strips.
- 3. Slice the lemon into thin rounds.
- 4. Heat water in a pot over medium heat until it boils.
- 5. Add the sugar to the boiling water.
- 6. Stir until the sugar has completely dissolved.
- 7. Place the cut mint leaves and lemon slices into a bowl.
- 8. Pour the hot sugar syrup over the mint and lemon.
- 9. Allow the mixture to cool down.
- 10. Cover the bowl and refrigerate it overnight.
- 11. Strain the syrup through a sieve to remove the solid ingredients.
- 12. Fill a glass with crushed ice.
- 13. Add four teaspoons of whiskey to the glass.
- 14. Add two teaspoons of the prepared mint syrup.
- 15. Stir the drink well with a spoon.
- 16. Garnish the cocktail with fresh mint and serve.
