🍽️ Quick Steaks Stuffed with Onions

Ingredients
- potatoes, mostly waxy 1 kg
- salt pinch
- spring onions 1 bunch
- toast bread 2 slices
- eggs 2 pcs.
- parsley, fresh 1 bunch
- roasted onions 30 g
- pepper, black ground pinch
- minute steaks from pork 600 g
Instructions
- 1. Peel the potatoes and wash them thoroughly.
- 2. Cut the potatoes into quarters or eighths, depending on their size.
- 3. Place the potatoes in a pot with salted water.
- 4. Bring the water to a boil.
- 5. Cook the potatoes over medium heat for about 20 minutes until they are soft.
- 6. Place the wooden skewers in a glass of cold water to soak.
- 7. Wash the spring onions and trim off the ends.
- 8. Slice the spring onions diagonally into thin rings.
- 9. Remove the crusts from the toast bread.
- 10. Crumble or chop the toast bread into small pieces.
- 11. Separate the eggs so that you have distinct egg yolks and egg whites.
- 12. Wash the parsley and shake it dry.
- 13. Remove the thick stems from the parsley.
- 14. Chop the parsley finely.
- 15. Put the spring onions, toast bread, parsley, egg yolk, fried onions, salt, and pepper into a bowl.
- 16. Mix all the ingredients in the bowl well together.
- 17. Rinse the minute steaks briefly.
- 18. Pat the steaks dry with a kitchen towel.
- 19. Pound the steaks flat.
- 20. Spread the onion mixture evenly over four steaks.
- 21. Place the remaining steaks on top.
- 22. Remove the wooden skewers from the water and dry them.
- 23. Insert the skewers through the steak layers to secure them.
- 24. Season the steaks on the outside with salt and pepper.
- 25. Preheat the grill.
- 26. Grill the steaks on the hot grill for about 3 to 4 minutes per side.
- 27. Alternatively, you can fry the steaks in a pan over medium to high heat.
- 28. Fry them for about 4 to 5 minutes.
- 29. Drain the cooked potatoes.
- 30. Plate the onion steaks.
- 31. Serve the steaks together with the potatoes.
