🍰 Mini Gugelhupfs with Sugar Glaze

Ingredients
- butter 150 g
- eggs 3 pcs.
- salt pinch
- sugar 150 g
- wheat flour, type 405 150 g
- baking powder 0.5 g
- powdered sugar 125 g
- honey 2 tbsp
- sugar pearls 100 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Take a bowl and beat soft butter with a hand mixer and whisk until frothy.
- 3. Add eggs, a pinch of salt, and sugar alternately to the butter mixture and mix well each time.
- 4. Mix flour and baking powder into the mass until a smooth batter forms.
- 5. Fill the batter into mini Gugelhupf molds.
- 6. Bake the cakes in the oven for about 60 minutes.
- 7. Sift powdered sugar into a separate bowl.
- 8. Mix the powdered sugar with honey to form a slightly thick glaze.
- 9. Add a little bit of water if the glaze is too thick.
- 10. Turn out the finished mini Gugelhupfs from the molds.
- 11. Let the cakes cool down for a short while.
- 12. Carefully dip the cakes into the sugar glaze.
- 13. Let the excess glaze drip off.
- 14. Sprinkle the cakes with sugar pearls.
- 15. Serve the mini Gugelhupfs and enjoy them.
