  3. 3. Stir the ingredients until you have a smooth dough.
  4. 4. Shape the dough into a ball.
  5. 5. Cover the dough ball with a kitchen towel.
  6. 6. Let the dough rest for 15 minutes.
  7. 7. Slice the beetroot into thin rounds.
  8. 8. Wash the spring onions thoroughly.
  9. 9. Shake the spring onions dry.
  10. 10. Trim off the tough root ends of the spring onions.
  11. 11. Slice the spring onions into thin rings.
  12. 12. Rinse the lemon under hot water.
  13. 13. Grate about one teaspoon of lemon zest.
  14. 14. Cut the lemon in half.
  15. 15. Squeeze the juice out of the lemon.
  16. 16. Heat a frying pan over high heat.
  17. 17. Roast the walnuts in the pan for about 2 minutes.
  18. 18. Sprinkle sugar over the walnuts.
  19. 19. Caramelize the walnuts for another 2 minutes.
