🍰 Fluffy Milk Rolls

Ingredients
- butter 75 g
- Milk 200 ml
- Sugar 90 g
- Yeast, fresh 1 pc
- Salt pinch
- Vanilla Sugar 2 tsp
- Eggs 1 pc
- Wheat flour, Type 405 500 g
Instructions
- 1. Put the butter and milk into a pot.
- 2. Warm the mixture until the butter is completely melted.
- 3. Let the liquid cool down slightly until it is lukewarm.
- 4. Stir 1 tablespoon of sugar and the crumbled yeast into the milk.
- 5. Cover the pot and let the mixture rest for 10 minutes.
- 6. Put the remaining sugar, salt, vanilla sugar, egg, and flour into a large bowl.
- 7. Pour the yeast-milk mixture over the dry ingredients.
- 8. Knead everything well until a smooth dough forms.
- 9. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
- 10. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius fan (convection).
- 11. Sprinkle some flour onto a work surface.
- 12. Divide the dough into 10 to 12 equal pieces.
- 13. Shape the dough pieces into round rolls or crescents.
- 14. Avoid kneading them too much.
- 15. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 16. Cover the rolls and let them rise again for 10 minutes.
- 17. Brush the tops of the rolls with a little milk.
- 18. Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
- 19. Take the rolls out of the oven and let them cool.
- 20. Enjoy your meal!
- 21. Tip: You can freeze the cooled rolls well.
- 22. After thawing, warm them briefly in a toaster or in a hot oven.
- 23. This way, they taste almost like freshly baked.
