Ingredients
- Watermelon 1 pc.
- Cucumber 50 g
- chili pepper Mix 1 pc.
- Basil, fresh 10 g
- Oil 3 tbsp
- Balsamic vinegar, light 2 tbsp
- Soy sauce 2 tbsp
- Brown sugar 1 tbsp
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Sesame, white 1 tbsp
- Chili, ground 0.25 tsp
Instructions
- 1. Cut the watermelon into quarters and remove the rind.
- 2. Cut the flesh into coarse cubes.
- 3. Thoroughly wash the snow peas.
- 4. Slice the snow peas diagonally into thin strips.
- 5. Wash the pepper.
- 6. Halve the pepper and remove the stem and seeds.
- 7. Finely chop the pepper.
- 8. Wash the basil and shake it dry.
- 9. Pluck the leaves from the stems.
- 10. Coarsely chop the basil leaves.
- 11. In a bowl, mix the pepper with 3 tablespoons of oil.
- 12. Add 2 tablespoons of vinegar and 2 tablespoons of soy sauce.
- 13. Stir 1 tablespoon of raw sugar into the mixture.
- 14. Season the dressing with salt and pepper.
- 15. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- 16. Add the cut snow peas to the dressing.
- 17. Let the snow peas marinate briefly in the dressing.
- 18. Arrange the watermelon cubes on a platter.
- 19. Drizzle the soy sauce dressing over the melon.
- 20. Distribute the snow peas evenly over the melon.
- 21. Sprinkle the chopped basil over the salad.
- 22. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the salad.
- 23. Season the salad to taste with chili powder if desired.
- 24. Serve the salad immediately.
