🍰 Refreshing Melon Sorbet

Ingredients
- Organic limes 1 pc.
- sugar 100 g
- honeydew melon 1 pc.
Instructions
- 1. Wash the lime thoroughly and cut it in half.
- 2. Squeeze the juice from the lime halves into a pot.
- 3. Add water until you have a total of 150 milliliters of liquid in the pot.
- 4. Add the sugar to the lime-water mixture.
- 5. Bring the mixture to a boil on the stove.
- 6. Let the syrup simmer gently for about one minute.
- 7. Remove the pot from the heat and set the lime syrup aside to cool down.
- 8. Cut the melon in half.
- 9. Remove the seeds from the melon halves using a spoon.
- 10. Peel the melon halves and cut the flesh into coarse cubes.
- 11. Place the melon cubes and 100 milliliters of the cooled lime syrup into a tall container.
- 12. Blend the mixture finely until a smooth mass forms.
- 13. Pour the melon mixture through a fine sieve to remove any fibers.
- 14. Pour the filtered mass into a wide, shallow dish.
- 15. Place the dish in the freezer compartment and let the sorbet freeze completely for about four hours.
- 16. Remove the dish from the freezer about 15 minutes before serving.
- 17. Let the sorbet thaw slightly in the refrigerator to make it creamy.
