  5. 5. Peel the melon completely.
  6. 6. Remove all seeds from the melon.
  7. 7. Scoop out 4 balls from the melon flesh.
  8. 8. Cut the rest of the melon flesh into coarse cubes.
  9. 9. Wash the basil thoroughly under running water.
  10. 10. Shake the basil dry.
  11. 11. Pluck the basil leaves from the stems.
  12. 12. Wash the nectarines.
  13. 13. Quarter the nectarines.
  14. 14. Remove the pits from the nectarine quarters.
  15. 15. Cut the nectarines into wedges.
  16. 16. Thread a nectarine wedge onto a skewer.
  17. 17. Thread a melon ball onto the same skewer.
  18. 18. Thread a basil leaf onto the same skewer.
  19. 19. Repeat this for all four skewers.
  20. 20. Wash the lemon.
  21. 21. Halve the lemon.
  22. 22. Squeeze the juice from the lemon.
  23. 23. Put the remaining nectarines into a mixing container.
  24. 24. Put the melon cubes into the mixing container.
