  7. 7. Add the onions and garlic to the pot.
  8. 8. Sauté the vegetables for about 2 minutes.
  9. 9. Deglaze the mixture with white wine.
  10. 10. Let the wine reduce for about 2 minutes.
  11. 11. Add the chopped tomatoes to the soup.
  12. 12. Season with salt, pepper, and sugar.
  13. 13. Add a bay leaf to the soup.
  14. 14. Let the soup simmer gently.
  15. 15. Rinse the seafood thoroughly.
  16. 16. Pat the seafood dry.
  17. 17. Add the seafood to the soup.
  18. 18. Reduce the heat to low to medium.
  19. 19. Cover the pot with a lid.
  20. 20. Cook the soup for about 10 minutes.
  21. 21. Wash the parsley.

  23. 23. Pluck the parsley leaves from the stems.
