  1. 1. Rinse the basil under running water and pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
  2. 2. Gently pluck the basil leaves from the stems.
  3. 3. Clean the mushrooms if necessary with a cloth and slice them into thin pieces.
  4. 4. Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them in half.
  5. 5. Drain the feta cheese and crumble it into coarse pieces using your hands.
  6. 6. Whisk the eggs in a bowl with the milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  7. 7. Heat a frying pan and melt one teaspoon of butter for each omelette over high heat.
  8. 8. Fry the mushroom slices for about two minutes over high heat.
  9. 9. Pour one quarter of the egg mixture into the pan and place the tomatoes on top.
  10. 10. Let the omelette set over medium heat for about two minutes.
  11. 11. Flip the omelette and cook it for another minute or so.
  12. 12. Repeat the process with the remaining egg mixture until all omelettes are done.
  13. 13. Garnish each finished omelette with the basil leaves and the crumbled feta cheese.
  14. 14. Serve the omelette immediately and enjoy.
