🍳 Mediterranean Style Omelette

Ingredients
- basil, fresh 10 g
- mushrooms, brown 200 g
- cherry tomatoes 200 g
- feta 200 g
- eggs 8 pcs.
- milk 50 ml
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- butter 4 tsp
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the basil under running water and pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
- 2. Gently pluck the basil leaves from the stems.
- 3. Clean the mushrooms if necessary with a cloth and slice them into thin pieces.
- 4. Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them in half.
- 5. Drain the feta cheese and crumble it into coarse pieces using your hands.
- 6. Whisk the eggs in a bowl with the milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- 7. Heat a frying pan and melt one teaspoon of butter for each omelette over high heat.
- 8. Fry the mushroom slices for about two minutes over high heat.
- 9. Pour one quarter of the egg mixture into the pan and place the tomatoes on top.
- 10. Let the omelette set over medium heat for about two minutes.
- 11. Flip the omelette and cook it for another minute or so.
- 12. Repeat the process with the remaining egg mixture until all omelettes are done.
- 13. Garnish each finished omelette with the basil leaves and the crumbled feta cheese.
- 14. Serve the omelette immediately and enjoy.
