  1. 1. Rinse chicken fillets thoroughly and pat dry with kitchen paper. Peel garlic and chop finely. Wash the lemon and grate about 1 tsp of the zest.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a pan and sear the chicken for approx. 7 minutes. Then add garlic, lemon zest, salt and pepper, remove the pan from the heat and let the chicken rest covered.
  3. 3. Wash tomatoes and cucumbers and slice them. Separate lettuce leaves individually, wash thoroughly and drain well. Halve the dried tomatoes. Slice the chicken into thin slices.
  4. 4. Cut the baguette lengthwise and spread with mayonnaise. Arrange the ingredients on top if desired, portion and serve the Mediterranean chicken sandwich. Enjoy your meal!
