🍽️ Mediterranean Nut Spice Salt

Ingredients
- Cashew nuts 50 g
- Walnut kernels 50 g
- Sesame, white 30 g
- Oranges 1 pc.
- Rosemary, fresh 20 g
- Salt 6 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Put the cashew nuts and walnuts into the blender.
- 2. Crush the nuts for 3 seconds on the highest speed (level 8).
- 3. Pour the coarsely crushed nuts into a bowl.
- 4. Heat a frying pan over medium heat.
- 5. Roast the sesame seeds in the pan for about 3 minutes without adding extra fat.
- 6. Remove the sesame seeds from the pan and place them on a plate.
- 7. Let the sesame seeds cool down completely.
- 8. Rinse the orange under hot water.
- 9. Grate about 1 tablespoon of fine orange zest.
- 10. Wash the rosemary under running water.
- 11. Pat the rosemary dry with a kitchen towel.
- 12. Strip the needles off the rosemary sprig.
- 13. Put the nuts, rosemary, orange zest, and salt into the blender.
- 14. Puree the ingredients for 25 seconds on the highest speed (level 8).
- 15. Gently fold the cooled sesame seeds into the mixture.
- 16. Fill the finished spice salt into an airtight container.
- 17. Store the salt in the refrigerator.
