  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
  2. 2. Wash the chicken breasts thoroughly and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
  3. 3. Wash the lemon and slice it into thin rounds.
  4. 4. Press the garlic clove lightly with the flat side of a knife to open it up.
  5. 5. Wash the rosemary and thyme sprigs and shake off excess water.
  6. 6. Place the lemon slices, chicken breasts, herbs, and garlic on a baking sheet.
  7. 7. Drizzle everything generously with olive oil.
  8. 8. Season the dish with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. 9. Place the tray in the oven and bake the chicken breast for about 15 minutes.
  10. 10. Meanwhile, put the olives in a sieve to drain well.
  11. 11. Gently crush the olives slightly with a knife or spoon so they split open a bit.
  12. 12. Remove the baking sheet from the oven after 15 minutes.
  13. 13. Distribute the prepared olives evenly over the chicken on the tray.
  14. 14. Place the tray back in the oven and bake everything for another 10 minutes.
  15. 15. Carefully remove the finished dish from the oven.
  16. 16. Plate the chicken breasts with the olives.
  17. 17. Add a final splash of olive oil and serve the dish hot.
