  1. 1. Peel the potatoes and wash them thoroughly.

  3. 3. Cook the potatoes for about 25 minutes until they are soft.
  4. 4. Drain the water and let the potatoes cool down.
  5. 5. Mash the cooled potatoes finely using a potato ricer or a masher.
  6. 6. Roughly chop the pine nuts.
  7. 7. Rinse the basil and shake off the excess water.
  8. 8. Pluck the basil leaves from the stems.
  9. 9. Finely chop the basil leaves.
  10. 10. Add flour, ½ teaspoon of salt, yeast, sugar, the chopped basil, and the pine nuts to the potatoes.
  11. 11. Pour in about 150 milliliters of lukewarm water.
  12. 12. Knead everything into a smooth dough.
  13. 13. Cover the dough.
  14. 14. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour until it has doubled in size.

  16. 16. Remove the stem and seeds from the bell pepper.

  29. 29. Shape the filled dough pieces back into balls using floured hands.
  30. 30. Place the rolls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
