Ingredients
- cream spinach, frozen 250 g
- onions, red 1 pc.
- vegetable broth 100 ml
- whipping cream 200 ml
- eggs 2 pcs.
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- vegetable maultaschen 800 g
- gouda, grated 200 g
Instructions
- 1. Let the spinach thaw overnight in the refrigerator.
- 2. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 3. Halve the onion and peel it.
- 4. Slice the onion into thin rings.
- 5. Mix the thawed spinach in a bowl with the broth, cream, and eggs.
- 6. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 7. Line a baking dish with the maultaschen and the onion rings.
- 8. Pour the spinach sauce evenly over the maultaschen.
- 9. Cover the gratin with cheese.
- 10. Bake the dish in the oven for about 35 minutes.
- 11. Carefully remove the maultaschen gratin from the oven.
- 12. Serve the dish immediately.
