🍰 Marzipan Rice Pudding with Plum Sauce

Ingredients
- marzipan paste 125 g
- milk 1 L
- butter 1 tbsp
- sugar 50 g
- salt pinch
- rice pudding rice 250 g
- plums 400 g
- brown sugar 40 g
- cinnamon 0.25 tsp
- dry red wine 40 ml
Instructions
- 1. Cut the marzipan into coarse cubes.
- 2. Place milk, butter, sugar, salt, and the marzipan cubes into a pot.
- 3. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it boils.
- 4. Stir in the rice pudding mix.
- 5. Let the rice pudding cook for about 25 minutes.
- 6. Wash the plums thoroughly.
- 7. Halve the plums and remove the pits.
- 8. Cut the plum halves into thin strips.
- 9. Place the plum strips, brown sugar, cinnamon, and wine into a pot.
- 10. Heat the sauce over medium heat until it boils.
- 11. Let the sauce simmer gently for about 2 to 3 minutes.
- 12. Serve the lukewarm marzipan rice pudding with the plum sauce.
