🍰 Bundt Cake with Marzipan and Cherries

Ingredients
- marzipan mass 100 g
- cherries, fresh 300 g
- almonds, whole 50 g
- butter 250 g
- sugar 170 g
- salt pinch
- eggs 4 pcs
- wheat flour, type 405 350 g
- baking powder 3 tsp
- milk 175 ml
- powdered sugar 2 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Crumble the marzipan into small pieces.
- 3. Let the cherries drain well in a sieve.
- 4. Chop the almonds coarsely.
- 5. Mix butter, sugar, and salt in a bowl with a hand mixer until the mixture is creamy.
- 6. Add the eggs one by one and mix them in well.
- 7. Combine the flour and baking powder.
- 8. Stir the flour mixture and 150 milliliters of milk into the batter.
- 9. Remove half of the batter and fold in the cherries.
- 10. Stir the marzipan and chopped almonds with the remaining milk into the other half of the batter.
- 11. Pour the cherry batter half into a greased bundt pan (26–28 cm diameter).
- 12. Spread the marzipan batter half on top.
- 13. Bake the bundt cake for about 50 minutes until it is light brown.
- 14. Remove the cake and let it cool on a wire rack.
- 15. Turn the bundt cake out of the pan.
- 16. Dust the cake with powdered sugar before serving.
