🍰 Sweet Chocolate Muffins with Marshmallow Sheep

Ingredients
- butter 150 g
- sugar 150 g
- vanilla sugar 1 packet
- salt pinch
- eggs 2 pcs
- wheat flour, Type 405 200 g
- cocoa powder 110 g
- baking powder 0.5 packet
- milk 200 ml
- oil for greasing 1 tbsp
- marzipan paste 100 g
- powdered sugar 1 tsp
- chocolate, dark 20 g
- whipping cream 200 g
- whipping cream stabilizer 1 packet
- cream cheese, plain 100 g
- mini marshmallows 180 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Beat 150 grams of soft butter in a bowl with a hand mixer and whisk until creamy.
- 3. Stir in 150 grams of sugar, one packet of vanilla sugar, a pinch of salt, and two eggs alternately into the butter.
- 4. Sift 200 grams of flour, 100 grams of cocoa powder, and half a packet of baking powder into the bowl.
- 5. Mix the dry ingredients with some milk to form a smooth batter.
- 6. Grease the cups of a muffin tin or line them with baking cups.
- 7. Distribute the batter evenly among the prepared cups.
- 8. Bake the muffins in the oven for about 20 to 25 minutes.
- 9. Remove the chocolate muffins from the oven and carefully release them from the tin.
- 10. Let the muffins cool down completely on a wire rack.
- 11. Knead 200 grams of marzipan raw mass with one teaspoon of powdered sugar until pliable.
- 12. Shape the marzipan into a roll about two centimeters thick.
- 13. Divide the roll into 24 equal pieces.
- 14. Shape 12 of the pieces into balls and then press them into flat teardrops.
- 15. Set the shaped sheep heads aside.
- 16. Divide the remaining 12 marzipan pieces and shape them into small teardrops for the ears.
- 17. Press the pointed ends of the ears onto the sides of the sheep head.
- 18. Ensure the round end of the head faces down to form the chin.
- 19. Draw nostrils into the sheep heads as desired using a toothpick.
- 20. Bring about 500 milliliters of water to a boil in a pot.
- 21. Chop the chocolate and melt it in a metal bowl over the hot water.
- 22. Put the melted chocolate into a zip-lock bag and cut off a small corner.
- 23. Draw two small eyes on each sheep head using the chocolate.
- 24. Whip cream and cream stabilizer in a tall bowl with a hand mixer until stiff.
- 25. Stir cream cheese in a bowl until creamy.
- 26. Fold in the whipped cream gradually into the cream cheese mixture.
- 27. Spread one tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture on each cooled muffin.
- 28. Sprinkle mini marshmallows over the muffins.
- 29. Place one marzipan sheep head on the edge of the marshmallows.
- 30. Keep the finished muffins cool until you serve them.
