  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius with fan.
  2. 2. Mix soft butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt in a bowl with a hand mixer until creamy.
  3. 3. Stir the eggs and 100 milliliters of milk into the butter mixture.
  4. 4. Add flour and baking powder and stir briefly until just combined.
  5. 5. Grease a cake pan and dust it with flour.
  6. 6. Fill three quarters of the batter into the prepared pan.
  7. 7. Mix the remaining batter with 50 milliliters of milk and cocoa powder.
  8. 8. Place the chocolate batter next to the light batter in the pan.
  9. 9. Swirl the two batters together lightly with a fork to create the marble effect.
  10. 10. Bake the cake for about 60 minutes.
  11. 11. Let the cake cool briefly in the pan.
  12. 12. Carefully turn the cake out onto a cooling rack.
  13. 13. Let the cake cool completely.
  14. 14. Dust the cake with powdered sugar and serve.
