🍰 Classic Marble Cake

Ingredients
- Eggs 5 pcs.
- butter 300 g
- Sugar 200 g
- Vanilla Sugar 1 packet
- Salt pinch
- Milk 150 ml
- Wheat flour, Type 405 380 g
- Baking powder 2 tsp
- Cocoa powder 50 g
- Icing sugar 3 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius fan-assisted.
- 2. Add the eggs, soft butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt to a large mixing bowl.
- 3. Beat the ingredients with a mixer on speed 4 for two minutes until frothy.
- 4. Add 100 milliliters of milk, the flour, and the baking powder to the mixture.
- 5. Stir everything on speed 1 for 30 seconds until the batter is smooth.
- 6. Grease a cake tin and dust it lightly with flour.
- 7. Pour three quarters of the light batter into the prepared tin.
- 8. Stir the remaining milk and cocoa powder into the leftover batter.
- 9. Add the dark batter to the tin.
- 10. Gently fold the batters together with a fork to create the marble effect.
- 11. Bake the cake for about 45 minutes.
- 12. Let the cake cool down slightly in the tin or on the tray.
- 13. Carefully turn the cake out onto a wire rack.
- 14. Let the cake cool down completely.
- 15. Dust the cooled cake with powdered sugar.
- 16. Serve the cake and enjoy.
