  1. 1. Take the rump steaks out of the refrigerator.
  2. 2. Rinse the steaks briefly and pat them completely dry with a kitchen towel.
  3. 3. Cut a lime in half and squeeze out the juice.
  4. 4. Mix the lime juice in a bowl with soy sauce and honey.
  5. 5. Season the marinade to taste with chili.
  6. 6. Place the rump steaks in the marinade and let them marinate for about 30 minutes.
  7. 7. Cut the leeks lengthwise.
  8. 8. Wash the leeks thoroughly and let them drain.
  9. 9. Brush the leeks with a little oil.
  10. 10. Preheat the grill.
  11. 11. Place the leeks on the hot grill with the cut side facing down.
  12. 12. Grill the leeks for about 5 minutes over high heat.
  13. 13. Take the rump steaks out of the marinade and let them drain briefly.
  14. 14. Grill the steaks for about 1 minute on each side.
  15. 15. Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for about 2 minutes.
  16. 16. Cut the grilled leeks into pieces about 2 cm long.
  17. 17. Slice the rump steaks into strips.
  18. 18. Serve the steaks together with the leeks.
  19. 19. Season the dish to taste with salt and pepper.
