🍽️ Grilled Rump Steaks in Lime-Soy Marinade with Leeks

Ingredients
- Beef sirloin steaks 600 g
- Organic limes 1 pc
- Soy sauce 1 tbsp
- Honey 1 tbsp
- Chili, ground 1 tsp
- Leek 1 pc
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
Instructions
- 1. Take the rump steaks out of the refrigerator.
- 2. Rinse the steaks briefly and pat them completely dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Cut a lime in half and squeeze out the juice.
- 4. Mix the lime juice in a bowl with soy sauce and honey.
- 5. Season the marinade to taste with chili.
- 6. Place the rump steaks in the marinade and let them marinate for about 30 minutes.
- 7. Cut the leeks lengthwise.
- 8. Wash the leeks thoroughly and let them drain.
- 9. Brush the leeks with a little oil.
- 10. Preheat the grill.
- 11. Place the leeks on the hot grill with the cut side facing down.
- 12. Grill the leeks for about 5 minutes over high heat.
- 13. Take the rump steaks out of the marinade and let them drain briefly.
- 14. Grill the steaks for about 1 minute on each side.
- 15. Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for about 2 minutes.
- 16. Cut the grilled leeks into pieces about 2 cm long.
- 17. Slice the rump steaks into strips.
- 18. Serve the steaks together with the leeks.
- 19. Season the dish to taste with salt and pepper.
