  1. 1. Rinse the lemon thoroughly under running water.
  2. 2. Grate about one teaspoon of the lemon zest.
  3. 3. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze out the juice.
  4. 4. Rinse the rosemary sprigs and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
  5. 5. Put all the marinade ingredients into a small saucepan.
  6. 6. Heat the mixture over very low heat and let it steep for about five minutes.
  7. 7. Pour the warm marinade through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl.
  8. 8. Place the large shrimp into the marinade.
  9. 9. Let the shrimp marinate in the mixture for about 30 minutes.
