🥤 Homemade Mango-Lime Syrup

Ingredients
- sugar 200 g
- vanilla sugar 8 g
- mango 1000 g
- lemon juice 150 ml
- brown rum 500 ml
Instructions
- 1. Put the sugar and the vanilla sugar into the mixing container.
- 2. Insert the measuring cup and pulverize the ingredients for 20 seconds on speed 10.
- 3. Push any remaining sugar particles down from the inner wall using a spatula.
- 4. Repeat the process briefly if large sugar crystals are still visible.
- 5. Peel the mangoes and remove the flesh from the pit.
- 6. Cut the mango flesh into small pieces.
- 7. Add the mango pieces, 200 milliliters of room-temperature water, and the room-temperature lemon juice to the mixing container.
- 8. Blend the mixture for 45 seconds on speed 10.
- 9. Then heat the mixture for 7 minutes at 85 degrees Celsius and speed 2 to 85.
- 10. Add the room-temperature rum.
- 11. Mix everything for 15 seconds on speed 7.
- 12. Fill the syrup into sterile bottles.
- 13. Seal the bottles immediately.
- 14. Store the syrup in the refrigerator and consume it within one week.
