🍽️ Fruity Mango Chutney

Ingredients
- Mango 4 pcs.
- Ginger, fresh 40 g
- Balsamic vinegar, light 300 ml
- Cilantro, fresh 15 g
- Physalis 100 g
- Brown sugar 250 g
- Salt pinch
- Cinnamon 0.5 tsp
- Chili, ground 2 tsp
- Cardamom, ground 0.5 tsp
Instructions
- 1. Peel the mangoes and cut the flesh into small cubes.
- 2. Peel the ginger and dice it finely as well.
- 3. Place the vinegar, mango cubes, and ginger into a pot.
- 4. Heat the mixture over medium temperature until it boils.
- 5. Let the chutney simmer for about 10 minutes.
- 6. Wash the coriander and shake it dry.
- 7. Chop the coriander into small pieces.
- 8. Remove the physalis from their husks and wash them.
- 9. Halve the washed physalis.
- 10. Add the coriander, physalis, sugar, 2 teaspoons of salt, and the remaining spices to the pot.
- 11. Let everything simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes.
- 12. Stir occasionally until the chutney becomes thicker.
- 13. Fill the hot chutney to the brim into clean preserving jars (250 ml).
- 14. Seal the jars tightly.
- 15. Let the jars cool down.
