🍽️ Tropical Mango-Pineapple Chutney

Ingredients
- Mango 2 pcs
- Pineapple 800 g
- Onions, yellow 120 g
- Garlic cloves 2 pcs
- Brown sugar 2 tbsp
- Apple juice 200 ml
- Chili flakes 1 tsp
- Organic limes 2 pcs
- Salt pinch
Instructions
- 1. Peel the mangoes and remove the pit. Cut the flesh into small cubes.
- 2. Peel the pineapple and remove the hard core. Cut the flesh into small cubes as well.
- 3. Peel the onions and garlic. Cut both into small pieces.
- 4. Put the sugar in a pot and melt it over heat.
- 5. Stir the apple juice into the melted sugar liquid.
- 6. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- 7. Add the prepared mango and pineapple cubes, the onions, garlic, and chili to the pot.
- 8. Let the mixture simmer at medium heat for about 30 minutes.
- 9. Puree the cooked mixture finely until a smooth sauce forms.
- 10. Halve the limes and squeeze out the juice.
- 11. Season the sauce with the lime juice and some salt.
- 12. Fill the hot sauce into clean jars or bottles.
- 13. Let the filled sauce cool down.
