  1. 1. Put sugar and hot water into the mixing container.
  2. 2. Insert the measuring cup.
  3. 3. Heat the mixture for 5 minutes on level 2 at 100 degrees Celsius.
  4. 4. Cut the clementines and lemons.
  5. 5. Squeeze the juice from the fruits.
  6. 6. Pour 700 milliliters of the fresh juice into the mixing container.
  7. 7. Puree the liquid for 10 seconds on level 4.
  8. 8. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish.
  9. 9. Line the dish with cling film.
  10. 10. Let the mixture cool down for about 30 minutes.
  11. 11. Place the dish in the freezer for at least 12 hours.
  12. 12. Halve the pomegranate.
  13. 13. Release the seeds by tapping the skin with a spoon.
  14. 14. Turn the frozen mixture out of the dish.
  15. 15. Cut the frozen mass into coarse pieces.
  16. 16. Put the pieces into the mixing container.
  17. 17. Remove the measuring cup.
  18. 18. Crush the mass for 10 seconds on level 8.
  19. 19. Stir through the opening in the lid with a spatula while doing so.
  20. 20. Push the contents down.
  21. 21. Repeat the crushing process.
  22. 22. Place a ball of clementine sorbet into each sparkling wine glass.
  23. 23. Fill the glasses with well-chilled sparkling wine.
  24. 24. Garnish the drinks with pomegranate seeds.
