🍽️ Makkaroni in Mushroom Cream Sauce

Ingredients
- Salt Pinch
- Mushrooms, white 500 g
- Onions, yellow 1 pc.
- Garlic cloves 1 pc.
- Basil, fresh 30 g
- Macaroni 500 g
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Heavy cream 300 g
- Pepper, black ground Pinch
Instructions
- 1. In a large pot, bring about 5 liters of salted water to a boil. Clean the mushrooms if necessary with a kitchen towel and slice them. Halve the onions, peel them, and dice them finely. Peel the garlic and chop it finely. Wash the basil leaves, shake them dry, and chop them coarsely.
- 2. Cook the pasta in the boiling salted water for about 10 minutes until al dente. Then drain them into a colander and reserve one cup of the cooking water.
- 3. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté the mushrooms together with the garlic and onions for about 4 minutes. Then deglaze with cream and let it come to a boil for approx. 3 minutes. Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
- 4. Mix the pasta well with the mushroom cream sauce in the pot. If necessary, add some cooking water. Plate the dish and sprinkle with the chopped basil. Enjoy your meal!
