🍰 Macadamia White Chocolate Kisses

Ingredients
- macadamia nuts, roasted and salted 50 g
- wheat flour, Type 405 130 g
- cornstarch 40 g
- powdered sugar 30 g
- vanilla sugar 1 tsp
- butter 120 g
- chocolate, white 100 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Finely chop the macadamia nuts.
- 3. Add the chopped nuts, flour, cornstarch, powdered sugar, and vanilla sugar to a bowl.
- 4. Mix the dry ingredients well together.
- 5. Add the cold, cubed butter.
- 6. Quickly knead the mixture into a smooth dough.
- 7. Form about 24 small balls from the dough (slightly smaller than a walnut).
- 8. Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 9. Press a small indentation into each ball using the blunt end of a cooking spoon.
- 10. Bake the cookies for about 10 to 12 minutes.
- 11. Remove the tray from the oven.
- 12. Let the cookies cool down completely.
- 13. Heat about 500 milliliters of water in a pot until it boils.
- 14. Roughly chop the chocolate.
- 15. Melt the chocolate pieces in a bowl placed over the hot water (bain-marie).
- 16. Let the melted chocolate cool down slightly for a moment.
- 17. Fill the indentations of the cooled cookies with the chocolate using a spoon or a piping bag.
- 18. Let the filled kisses dry.
- 19. Store the finished cookies in an airtight container until you are ready to serve them.
