🍰 Crunchy Macadamia Cookies with White Chocolate

Ingredients
- macadamia nuts, roasted and salted 150 g
- chocolate, white 125 g
- butter 250 g
- sugar 200 g
- vanilla sugar 2 packets
- wheat flour, Type 405 380 g
- baking powder 1 tsp
Instructions
- 1. Roughly chop the macadamia nuts and the white chocolate.
- 2. Mix 250 g of soft butter, 200 g of sugar, and 2 packets of vanilla sugar in a bowl with a hand mixer until the mixture is creamy.
- 3. Add 380 g of flour and 1 teaspoon of baking powder to the butter-sugar mixture.
- 4. Gently fold in the chopped chocolate and macadamia nuts for a short time.
- 5. Preheat the oven to 180 °C with top and bottom heat.
- 6. Divide the dough into walnut-sized portions.
- 7. Roll the portions into balls between hands lightly dusted with flour.
- 8. Place the balls on baking sheets lined with baking paper and leave enough space between them.
- 9. Press the balls down slightly until they are about 6 cm in diameter.
- 10. Bake the trays one after the other in the preheated oven for approx. 12 minutes.
- 11. Remove the cookies when they are crunchy and lightly browned.
- 12. Let the cookies cool down.
- 13. Store the cooled cookies in airtight containers.
