  1. 1. Roughly chop the macadamia nuts and the white chocolate.
  2. 2. Mix 250 g of soft butter, 200 g of sugar, and 2 packets of vanilla sugar in a bowl with a hand mixer until the mixture is creamy.
  3. 3. Add 380 g of flour and 1 teaspoon of baking powder to the butter-sugar mixture.
  4. 4. Gently fold in the chopped chocolate and macadamia nuts for a short time.
  5. 5. Preheat the oven to 180 °C with top and bottom heat.
  6. 6. Divide the dough into walnut-sized portions.
  7. 7. Roll the portions into balls between hands lightly dusted with flour.
  8. 8. Place the balls on baking sheets lined with baking paper and leave enough space between them.
  9. 9. Press the balls down slightly until they are about 6 cm in diameter.
  10. 10. Bake the trays one after the other in the preheated oven for approx. 12 minutes.
  11. 11. Remove the cookies when they are crunchy and lightly browned.
  12. 12. Let the cookies cool down.
  13. 13. Store the cooled cookies in airtight containers.
