🍰 Low-Carb Marble Cake

Ingredients
- oil 1 tbsp
- eggs 6 pcs
- butter 50 g
- almonds, ground 250 g
- salt pinch
- quark 40% fat in total 250 g
- vanilla sugar 1 tsp
- baking powder 1 tsp
- cocoa powder 2 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Grease a loaf pan with oil and dust it lightly with flour.
- 3. Separate the eggs by dividing the yolks from the whites.
- 4. Place the egg whites into the mixing container of your appliance.
- 5. Whip the egg whites for 3 minutes on speed level 4 until stiff.
- 6. Transfer the whipped egg whites into a separate bowl and set aside.
- 7. Add the soft butter, ground almonds, egg yolks, a pinch of salt, quark (a type of fresh cheese), vanilla sugar, and baking powder to the mixing container.
- 8. Mix the ingredients for 30 seconds on speed level 2.
- 9. Gently fold the egg whites into the batter.
- 10. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- 11. Add the cocoa powder to the remaining half of the batter and mix it well.
- 12. Pour the chocolate batter on top of the light batter in the pan.
- 13. Drag a wooden skewer through the batter several times to create a marble pattern.
- 14. Bake the cake in the oven for about 45 minutes.
- 15. Allow the cake to cool down slightly in the oven or on a rack.
- 16. Serve the cake warm or cold.
