  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 160 °C (top/bottom heat). In a bowl, knead soft butter, ground almonds, and 2 eggs well together. Line a springform pan with baking paper on the bottom, spread the dough evenly on it, and press it down firmly.
  2. 2. Wash the limes, grate about 5 tsp of zest finely, halve them, and squeeze out the juice. In a bowl, mix quark, cream cheese, and 4 eggs well with 6 tbsp lime juice and 3 tsp lime zest. Pour the filling onto the dough base and bake in the oven for about 45 minutes.
  3. 3. Carefully remove the cake from the oven. Release it from the springform pan, garnish with the remaining lime zest, and serve. Enjoy!
