🍽️ Low-Carb Minced Meat Casserole with Cauliflower

Ingredients
- Cauliflower 1 pc.
- Oil 4 tbsp.
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Onions, yellow 1 pc.
- Garlic cloves 1 pc.
- Minced meat, mixed 600 g
- Tomato paste 2 tbsp.
- Sweet paprika 1 tsp.
- Chili, ground 1 tsp.
- Vegetable broth 200 ml
- Sour cream 200 ml
- Gouda, grated 200 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Remove the outer leaves from the cauliflower and wash it thoroughly.
- 3. Cut the cauliflower into florets of about 1 centimeter.
- 4. Place the cauliflower florets into a baking dish.
- 5. Drizzle 2 tablespoons of oil over the cauliflower.
- 6. Season the vegetables with salt and pepper.
- 7. Place the baking dish in the oven for 15 minutes.
- 8. Peel the onion and the garlic.
- 9. Finely chop the onion and the garlic.
- 10. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan over medium to high heat.
- 11. Sauté the minced meat for 5 minutes until crumbly.
- 12. Add the chopped onion and garlic to the pan.
- 13. Continue to cook the vegetable mix for 2 minutes.
- 14. Stir the tomato paste into the meat.
- 15. Sprinkle paprika powder and chili over the mixture.
- 16. Deglaze the meat with broth and sour cream.
- 17. Bring the sauce to a boil.
- 18. Finally season the sauce with salt and pepper.
- 19. Remove the cauliflower from the oven after 15 minutes.
- 20. Pour the minced meat sauce over the cauliflower.
- 21. Sprinkle grated cheese over the casserole.
- 22. Place the dish back into the oven.
- 23. Bake the casserole for 15 to 20 minutes.
- 24. Remove the finished casserole from the oven.
- 25. Enjoy your meal!
- 26. Use the cauliflower stalk for soups, as it is firmer.
