Ingredients
- Wheat flour, Type 405 200 g
- Powdered sugar 110 g
- Hazelnut kernels, ground 100 g
- Vanilla sugar 1 tsp
- Salt pinch
- butter 100 g
- Eggs 1 pc.
- Raspberry jam 100 g
Instructions
- 1. Add flour, 100 g powdered sugar, ground hazelnuts, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt to a large bowl.
- 2. Add the cold, cubed butter and the egg to the bowl.
- 3. Knead the ingredients with your hands until a firm, homogeneous dough forms.
- 4. Wrap the dough tightly in plastic wrap.
- 5. Place the dough in the refrigerator for about 2 hours to chill thoroughly.
- 6. Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
- 7. Lightly dust the work surface with flour.
- 8. Roll out the dough thinly using a rolling pin.
- 9. Cut out cookie shapes from the dough as desired.
- 10. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 11. Cut the remaining dough into thin strips using a pastry wheel.
- 12. Spread each cookie thinly with jam.
- 13. Decorate the cookies with the dough strips.
- 14. Bake the cookies for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
- 15. Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool completely.
- 16. Dust the cooled cookies with powdered sugar before serving.
- 17. Store the cookies in an airtight container.
